What a delightful find! Neatly tucked away in a secluded garden but perfectly positioned for golf or exploring East Lothian. The cottage is well appointed with a high standard of presentation. The towels and bed linen are of good quality and were changed midway during our 10 night stay. There is a useful folder of local information and the owners are very helpful without being intrusive. Overall - highly recommended."
We had a lovely week staying in Hattys cottage a beautiful hidden away cottage with its lovely garden and birds to watch feeding. A great place to explore the coast of east Lothian. We can recommend the Old Aberlady Inn for a meal, we walked in to Aberlady along the coastal road (not too far to walk) Archerfield walled garden and willow walk for a leisurely stroll and cafe for lunch, we explored the beaches of Yellowcraig and north Berick which were great for our kids to enjoy exploring for crabs and shells and splashing in the sea and building sand castles and also visited Dirleton castle with its beautiful gardens. A great peaceful cottage with every home comfort you might need Including a cot for our 8 month old and room enough for a family of 4. Sarah and Alan are welcoming and helpful hosts and we enjoyed the homemade jam too. Hope to return again to a great holiday find." Sally, Steve, Isabel and Robert
Hatty's cottage is nicely placed to access Edinburgh, yet far enough out of the crowds to assure a lovely rest. It is fresh and very clean , very cosy. The cottage has excellent appliances which all operate beautifully , and Wifi access is very reliable. It is a very comfortable cottage, with attractive grounds, and very helpful owners who are respectful of your privacy . Regards Jayne Ball
Happy New Year to everyone. Well 2017 is going to be an interesting year. What with Trumpo and Brexit who knows what is going to happen. So why not come and stay at Hattys cottage and get away from it all. We will even switch off the WI FI if you want !. Nearby you can explore empty beaches and moorland or enjoy the cultural life of Edinburgh.
Hatty's cottage was situated in a lovely part of Aberlady, which was picturesque! when we arrived at the cottage there was a beautiful rose arch leading up to the cottage, inside there was everything to complete a cosy getaway. Sarah and Alan were welcoming, leaving a handy folder with things to do in the area. We enjoyed the local walks, pubs and beaches, we also got in a day trip to Edinburgh from the close by train station. Would defiantly recommend.' Kind regards,Ruby
